June 2025
In a tale as old as time, I thought I had already published this post (over a month ago) and was politely reminded that I'd been quiet for a while. In my defence, I don't have one, so here we are...
June was an interesting month, mostly in part to some social fun. Taking aside the usual stresses of work, taking part in some axe throwing and quad biking was good fun. On the former, in a surprise to nobody my axe skills are amateur at best. On the latter, plenty of air with no broken bones thankfully. Of course there is always one guy that cooks it (humour for all involved, albeit with a side of grass-rash).
As for the lack of sleep, better it is not. Sometimes it's impressive how I manage to function after no more than 90 minutes of sleep, while other times I realise (admittedly a few minutes after) that I'm trying to put a can opener in the fridge. Overnight recordings don't highlight anything, so it really is an overactive mind (answers on a postcard on how to solve that one).
Let's see if I can get the July recap out before the next Olympics ;)
